Our Journey

Founded in 2023 by an arts high school student, Ecolloquy began when our founder noticed how global issues like the Fukushima water incident got major attention, while local beach pollution was overlooked. Wanting to make a difference, he gathered his artist friends to design upcycled clothing that raises awareness for local environmental issues. Since then, we’ve grown into a youth-led nonprofit helping young people create direct impacts through sustainable fashion, outreach, and community projects.

Meet Our Founder!
Ryan Jung
Hi! I'm Ryan, a current senior at the Orange County School of the Arts. My interest in environmental activism sparked in elementary school when I noticed problems in our school’s recycling system and took action to implement a new recycling program in my community. Ever since, I’ve been finding new ways to help the Earth! (So far, I’m most interested in sustainable materials and aquatic pollution issues.)
I’m always open to exploring new topics and collaborating with others to create a more sustainable world. Feel free to reach out!
